The main principle of operation is that the freezer remains locked until a card or contactless device is presented to the payment pad. Once authorised, it unlocks the door, and you can then take whatever products you need from the freezer. The system uses weight sensors on the baskets to monitor what has been taken, and this is then charged when the door is closed.
The software control of the freezers can be set up to give discounts for multiple purchases, meal deal pricing, or promotional pricing at certain times of the day.
We are also able to set each basket individually to sell by piece or by weight, allowing sales of things such as produce by weight.
